The short, honest version.

WKNDR is built to need almost nothing from you. Here's exactly what that means, in plain language.

No accounts, ever

There's no sign-up, no login, no password. You just open the deck and start swiping. We never ask for your email to use the app.

No cookies, no tracking pixels

WKNDR doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no third-party trackers following you around after you leave.

Your taste lives in your browser

Every swipe — what you keep, what you skip, the taste the app learns about you — is saved on your device, in your browser's own storage (localStorage). It never leaves your phone or laptop, and it isn't tied to a name or an account. Clear your browser data and it's gone.

Feedback you choose to send

If you tap the feedback button and write us a note, that message is sent through Formspree so we can read it. That's the only time your words reach us — because you decided to hit send.

Counting visits, not people

When it's turned on, we use GoatCounter — a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool — to see roughly how many people opened the site. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and doesn't collect anything that identifies you personally.

Matching with a friend

When you share your picks so a friend can match, the hand-off runs through a small relay. It stores only short pick-codes and a first name — enough to bounce your matches back to you — under an unguessable link, and it auto-deletes after about 14 days. No events, no messages, no accounts, no location.

A few words on the listings

WKNDR pulls events from public sources and ranks them for you, but we don't run the venues or sell the tickets. Listings are shown as-is and details change — always check with the venue or organiser before you head out. WKNDR is a way to find your weekend, not a booking or ticketing guarantee.
